Invitation from WHA and CHA Presidents to Annual Conference 2011
On behalf of Women’s Hospitals Australasia (WHA) and Children’s Hospitals Australasia (CHA), we take great pleasure in inviting you to mark your diaries now for our Annual Conference to be held in Adelaide from November 21st to 23rd, 2011.
The Conference is a key opportunity for networking among colleagues from our member hospitals and for delegates from non-member organisations to participate in WHA and CHA activities.
Once again we are creating opportunities to focus on the interests and initiatives of WHA and CHA members.
With the overall theme of Challenging Frontiers in Women’s and Children’s Health, the topics for the WCHA 2011 Conference are:
- Day 1: Getting Women and Children on the Health Reform Agenda
- Day 2: Working with Diversity in Health Care
- Day 3: Perception of Pain in Childbirth (WHA)
Ethical Issues and Dilemmas in Children's Health Care (CHA)
This is a unique multidisciplinary forum centred around improving patient care across all of our health systems. The Conference attracts delegates from Australia, New Zealand and overseas representing a wide variety of disciplines - medical, nursing, midwifery, allied health, executives, service managers, planners, policy makers, educators, researchers and administrators - from hospitals, the community, government and non-government sectors..
We would like to invite all who hold an interest in the healthcare of women, babies, children and young people to attend this pivotal Conference. At the same time you may enjoy the opportunity to explore and enjoy the charming seaside destination of the Stamford Grand Adelaide, Glenelg, boasting panoramic views of the ocean, city and the Adelaide hills.
We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide in November.
